How we choose models
We pick models that people search for and ask about, from first folds for kids to complex designs. A model goes on the site only after we have folded and tested it ourselves.
Designer credits and permissions
Traditional models are credited as “Traditional”. Models by a known designer name the designer and link to their page, and we publish them only with the designer’s permission.
Sources
Every history or meaning claim links to its source, such as a museum, a book or a paper.
Use of AI
We may use AI tools to draft text. Every step, photo, video and test result on this site comes from our own folding.
Updates and corrections
We change the “Updated” date only when steps, photos, video or test results change. If you spot a mistake, email hello@origamisquad.com and we will fix it and note the change on the page.
